Porch Light is designed to help you stay connected with close friends and family through spontaneous voice calls. The app allows you to signal your availability and receive "knocks" from friends who want to connect.
You agree to use Porch Light only for its intended purpose of genuine social connection. You will not use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others in any way.
Porch Light maintains a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes but is not limited to:
Violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
If you experience any objectionable behavior, you can block and report users directly from the app. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours by our team. We take every report seriously and will take appropriate action.
Your privacy matters. We only collect information necessary to provide the service: your name, phone number (optional), profile photo (optional), and availability status. Your location is only used locally for auto porch light features and is never stored on our servers. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile settings. This will permanently remove all your data from our systems, including your profile, friend connections, and any associated information.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
